Hanging out at The Little Gym

Published by cheekysuze at 8:00 am under parenting Edit This

I’m always looking for cool places to take Taz. And by cool I mean safe, fun, and enclosed. The Little Gym is a wonderful place for him. Classes can be expensive relative to other gyms, but when you figure in what you get in return–skilled instructors, socialization with other kids, peace of mind–it’s well worth it.

Taz loves climbing all over the mats– which are in every shape imaginable– hanging from the bars, and playing with the balls, bubbles, and a parachute. I get great on-on-one time with Taz while still being part of a group setting, and I can relax knowing that there is nothing dangerous nearby. Older kids can take karate, dance, and cheerleading classes as well.

Here are two ways to help out with paying for classes:

1) Membership Milestones. This is a new rewards program where you can earn points to redeem later–for classes, birthday parties, in the shop, etc. It’s more of a benefit for people who enroll multiple kids multiple times though.

2) Around Christmas time the staff will send letters to your relatives for you, and they can then choose to give gift certificates as gifts. I used my gift certificates for classes for Sweets and Taz. (Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!) Why not ask The Little Gym staff to send out letters at other times of the year as well?

More than anything, I love the huge grins that decorate my kids’ faces while they are at the Little Gym. Ya’ can’t beat that!
